Doesn'T Matter Where But How You Did it..

Annyong People.

At times, wonderful moments appear unexpectedly. U never anticipate when it comes, how it turns out 2 b, but da moment it arrives, u juz gonna enjoy it while it lasts. N when its gone, u’ll miss it wondering when will it come again.

My 1st time celebrating Chuseok (추석) Korean Thanksgiving turns out 2 b a blast. @ 1st, I kinda sad 4 not able 2 follow my unimates going to 낙산 over da weekend as it was our 1st few outings 2gether, n I juz didn’t want 2 miss da fun. Of course I had a gud justifiable reason – my couzzie Faezah was here. She came all da way from Malaysia n of course I’ve 2 b wif her while she was ere. In fact, if I had 2 choose, I wud spent time with her considering it has been a while since we haven’t seen each other.

So we met, made plans, visiting places, eating dishes n most importantly spending time 2gether (wif another of her colleague)

N those days turned 2 b da most wonderful days thus far I had in Seoul. Simple planning tends 2 b an eventful in da end. (not dat really simple in a way cuz we even made trip to Nami Island for a full day trip) Even up to our departure, dere was still unexpected incident turned out (OK dis wasn’t a gud one but we both found it utterly hilarious and silly)

It makes me wonder btw, dat it doesn’t matter where u go, how u spent it is da most of all. N with whom u spent it. N I’m 4eva be indebted n b grateful 2 Him, my days in Seoul r always full of surprises n unexpected things. Gone r da days I’m watching Korean dramas n longing hardly 2 b ere bcuz now, I’m already in da Drama. Acting 4 myself, no script n direction but sailing through 2 wat God is given (watever He provides)

R.E.S.U.R.R.E.C.T.E.D

안녕하세요?

Dis time its really been a while. A while of 365 +++ days of hibernation, stagnation and pausing in life. God knows wat takes it so long but I just didn’t av da feel of penning down. Wasn’t dat nothing much to update, but life back home is juz a mundane routine – loneliness despite being surrounded by family, relatives and frens.

I dunno why my soul is alive when I’m alone abroad. I feel living n breathing far away from homeland, standing on my own feet n facing watever cums through by myself. 4 dat reason, I feel very much alive. And here I am, in a land far distant from home, across da oceans n mountains, charting my path in life, embarking a niu chapter, @ da same time keep on looking 4 happiness and joy in life.

Wait…

Happiness isn’t 2 b searched but it is already dere 2 b felt. Wat I got 2 do is 2 look @ it on a different perspective. Rather than searching wat u dun av, cherish wat u already av. And be grateful, as always. Life will b easy on u and u’ll be contented.

So citizens of d world, I hereby pronounce I’m back 2 Asignofthecreator n will continue reaching 2 u from time 2 time. I shall not look further into da ‘silent’ past, but will b looking 4ward 2 an exciting, challenging journey ahead. Of course, I know nothing wat will cum up eventually and I’m just gonna sail it through.

In completion of my Doctoral Studies, I am more enthusiastic of going through da process rather than waiting worryingly on da outcome. While da outcome is undoubtedly significant still, why worry about 2moro, since u av 2day 2 live on?

So I’m presenting you wat I intend 2 add-on 2 my to-do list besides da normal routine:

One) Read 2 pages da Holy Qoran daily (Godwilling)

Two) Learn to sing Korean songs – targeting 1 song every fortnight. Objective: so dat I can show off me Korean skills when karaokeing back home.

Three) Know 3 Hangul words a day

Four) Find 5 unheard / unknown English vocabularies. Errrrr like bifurcate, ameliorate, leitmotif…? Motif sgt kenn.

Five) Attend extra Korean class on Saturday. Got 2 fork out some money, but its an investment.

Six) Go hiking, possibly once a month.

Probably dats it 4 now. No need 2 b ambitious, Zokhri. U’ve learnt ur lesson well enuff!

Enjoy the blessings of the day … and the evils bear patiently: for this day only is ours: we are dead to yesterday and not born to tomorrow.”
