Finally, within da cool confines of a trendy hotel yesterday, pop darling CT Nurhaliza emerged 2gether wif da luv of her life businessman Datuk K J 4 da big announcement.
All eyes were on da couple, not just at da press conference, but across da country as da gfans followed dalive broadcast of da event on national tele.
Dis is da first ind a country's history has never b4 has any wedding announcement been broadcast live by any tv station. (Kelesssss gituh!!)
da 2 were accompanied by Ct's parents, Tarudin Ismail and Siti Salmah Bachik, her brother Saiful Bahri, Khalid's mum Siti ZainabHanafi and his sista, Zaiton Jiwa.
Looking resplendent and attired in matching outfits - Ct in yellow and orange baju kurung (alahaii.. sopan kan.. hehe) , n Khalid in a short-sleeved yellow shirt and dark trousers - da two slowly made their way past da amassed members of da media to take their seats.
da couple will tie da knot on Aug 21, @ an engagementa n akad nikah ceremony 2 be held at Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan. Its a date with much significance, as it not only in conjunction wif da Islamic Celebration Isra' Mikraj, but also da day Ct's parents celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary. (Semoga berbahagia ke anak cucu!! huhuhu) P-A-S-R-A-H mode !!!
Following da akad nikah, da couple will host theor first bersanding ceremony on Aug 28 at the Exhibition Hall of da Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It will be limited to invited guest, but fans will be able to catch da glimpse of da couple around da area as they will be parading from 1700 -1800 in a meet-da-fans sessions. They'll host another wedding reception in Kuala Lipis, 4 da family members, fans, relatives, media and frens on Sept 3 (so folks, wat r we waiting 4, jom SERBUUUUUU!!!!)
